Docking and Rearranging Panes

You can manipulate panes in various ways, as described below.

Undocking Panes

  1. Click the pane title bar or tab to bring it to the foreground.
  2. Drag the pane to the desired location.

Docking Panes

  1. Click the window to bring the pane to the foreground.
  2. Click the title bar, and drag the pane to the center of the main window until the docking control appears.
  3. Drag the mouse pointer to the icon of the desired location, and release the mouse.

Auto-hiding Panes

  1. Click the pin on the pane's title bar to auto-hide it. When auto-hide is active, the pane is "pinned" to the side of the main window
  2. Hover your mouse over a pinned pane to activate it and bring it to the foreground.
  3. To turn off auto-hiding, click the pin again.
